Nuvo Work Cancellation Policy

Every user of the Nuvo Work platform should strive to avoid reschedules or cancellations to create the most enjoyable experience for all users and help ensure fairness on the platform.  However, we appreciate that sometimes plans change and so our cancellation policy addresses some of those scenarios.  In this policy “Customer” refers to any person who uses the Nuvo Work website (“Site”) to book services from an Expert.  “Expert” refers to a person who is described as an Expert and provides or is set up to provide services to a Customer via the Site, including without limitation via a video call that is booked through or with use of the Site.

Customer Cancellation Penalties

  • More than 24 hours' notice:  If a customer cancels a meeting more than 24 hours before the scheduled time, they will receive a full refund.  

  • Less than 24 hours' notice: Cancellations made by a customer less than 24 hours before the meeting time will incur a 50% penalty fee. The remaining 50% will be refunded to the customer.

  • No-show: If a customer does not show up for a scheduled meeting without prior notice, no refund will be issued.  

User Rescheduling

  • More than 24 hours' notice: Customer reschedules with at least 24 hours notice will not incur a penalty. 

  • Less than 24 hours' notice: Rescheduling requests made by customers less than 24 hours before the meeting may incur a 25% penalty fee.  

Expert Cancellations

  • If an expert cancels a meeting at any time or does not show up to a scheduled meeting, a customer will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule (where available) without any penalty.  

Refund Process

  • All refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during booking.

Amendments

  • Nuvo Work reserves the right to amend this refund policy at any time.  Please refer to our policy before making your booking.
