John’s background is rooted in strong academic foundations, with an honors degree in chemical engineering from Sydney University and an MBA from UWA. He once considered a path in medicine, and though time has moved on, the evolving possibilities in longevity, health span, and advancements in quantum computing and AI may open new roads for him—and certainly for those younger.
Over the years, John has conceived and patented innovations across a wide array of sectors, including cosmology, CO2 sequestration, agrifoods, payments, insurance, blockchain, crypto, and the sharing economy. He has been deeply involved in startups and investing for decades, always pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
